Excess Baggage Charges
Calculation of excess baggage charges depends on Cathay Pacific flight zones.
In case of excess baggage weight, the excess charges would be USD 100 for Premium Economy travelers if the free weight is more than 25 kg but less than 32 kg. It will be USD 100 for Economy travelers if the luggage weighs more than 23 kg and less than 32 kg. In cases of oversized luggage, USD 100 per piece is charged if the dimension is greater than 158 cm but less than 203 cm in all classes. If the baggage weighs more than 32 kg or 203 cm, the charge is 4 times the additional baggage fee per piece.

Forbidden items in your hand luggage with Cathay Pacific
For security reasons, some items are not allowed in your carry-on luggage with Cathay Pacific. In fact, if you don't want to lose your items, follow the following rules.
First of all, for a few years now you cannot travel with liquids in a container larger than 3.4 ounces or 100 ml in the airplane cabin. Additionally, all containers must be in a resealable plastic bag. All these containers must not exceed one liter.
