If your HP printer says offline then you can use the HP print and scan to get it in the online state. If you come across any other issue then this in-built tool is great to resolve them too. You can check out the steps mentioned below to use the HP print and scan doctor:

•       Open the application from the download location and run it for which you might want the admin mode
•       Select ‘Yes’ to trust the file source if you are asked for the same
•       Click on ‘Start’ and choose the printer
•       If the printer is not there in the list then you can restart it and then click on ‘Retry’ in the print and scan doctor app
•       You will come across a list of potential connection issues. Follow the directions that you see on the screen and then choose ‘Yes’ if it says to turn on the printer updates
