Italy's Orto Botanico was the backdrop for Valentino's Resort 2020 lookbook shoot. An overly green, tropical oasis located in the middle of the Italian city of Rome, it made for the perfect setting to photograph a resort collection. There were plenty of tropical printed looks which were accented by flat, vacation ready sandals and of course, models clutched handbags-both new and old. Versions of pre-existing styles were shown including the Rockstud Spike Chain Bag, and the VRing Bag, but there were a few notable new mentions as well. A flap, saddle style, shoulder bag was introduced with a cool gold lock hardware closure. This new style was shown in solid leathers, including colorful hues like blue and red, while novelty versions with animal print and studded hardware were also introduced.
