Triund trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley. The trailhead is located near Kaza, about 45 minutes drive from Manali. The trekking starts with an easy walk uphill past apple orchards to an impressive view of the Dhauladhar range. You will be walking through pine forest before descending to the banks of the Kangra river, where you'll have a short rest before starting the last leg of the trek uphill to witness spectacular views of the Kangra valley. The return trip takes about two hours and can be done on a weekend.
