Dev Raturi cherishes his pahad in Uttarakhand, despite nearly 20 years away. In 2005, he moved to Beijing with a friend's job offer, launching his Global Indian journey.
Early Life
Growing up in Kemriya-Saur, Dev faced financial struggles. After leaving school early, he worked various jobs in Delhi, fueled by dreams of cinema inspired by Bruce Lee.
Entrepreneurial Success
In 2013, he opened Redfort in Xi’an, offering an immersive taste of Indian culture. “We didn’t just sell food; we sold an experience,” he says. The restaurant thrived, connecting cultures.
Cultural Ambassador
By 2015, Dev achieved his dream of acting in a film, becoming a cultural bridge for around 45,000 Global Indians in China.
