I love how Paul and Kelly have entirely captured the fun spirit and whimsy during the day.
"We were recommended Paul and Kelly by one of my bridesmaids. They felt a lot more like guests than photographers, our family and friends loved them! We were so pleased with the final shots and both teared up whenever we saw them the very first time!"
"We wanted a chilled place, lots of space we're able to design ourselves and an area for camping!… We were built with a discussion with one another about what both of us wanted and we decided we wanted your day to be just like a huge family barbecue! Chilled food and drinks, great music, games, kids, and camping were key."
Elisha chose gorgeous footwear from inside a sumptuous dark wine shade, and two heirloom earrings owned by her grandmother. Elisha styled her own hair and added a veil by Rembo Styling with beautiful lace edging to complement her dress and a glorious pastel-hued flower crown.
"I wanted a big, wild and natural bouquet and Marianne provided exactly that! The flowers within the venue looked incredible and Marianne is helpful using the setup and decorating your day before."
There are such beautiful textures within the bouquets, and I love the mixture of ethereal asparagus fern and nigella using the architectural thistles and romantic and delicate roses.
Elisha was accompanied on the aisle by her dad to the brilliant song How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You) by Julia Stone – a popular driving song from the couple throughout their travels together.
"We met in Freshers Week within our first week at uni! Both of us dressed up in army gear and following a drunken night in Tiger Tiger, here I am! Rob jokes that after he awoke the next morning, his phone was on a charge, he was built with a glass of water and every one of his stuff was neatly piled around the desk. He says this is where he knew I was a keeper!" Click
"We got engaged in the bottom of Mount Cook in New Zealand. Rob has been carrying around the ring on our travels awaiting the best spot; he chose it perfectly! We returned from traveling a couple of months after and virtually started planning and saving for around 2 years."
In the lovely, rustic barn space, wooden picnic tables were decorated with flowers in recycled gin bottles. The ingenious table plan also utilized gin bottles to signpost guests for their tables, with DIY stationery from Elisha and her bridesmaids.
"The wedding favors were a little gin bottle, which matched the table reputation for each guest. Each gin comes from a place within the world that means a lot to us. The guests could take their favor towards the gin stand and make their perfect drink!… My mum came up with ribbon garlands on your own which took such a long time but looked so great!"
As well as a splendid cheesecake, Elisha's brother-in-law designed a towering gin and tonic lemon drizzle cake topped with cute knitted versions of Elisha and Rob.
The bridesmaids wore softly pleated skirts with floral embroidered tops, along with shoes, earrings wild, and wonderful flower crowns. The couple's sweet flower girls also wore flower crowns having pretty tulle flower girl dresses, as well as their pageboy a good suit.
There was live entertainment, and later in the evening, Elisha and Rob enjoyed an initial dance together to John Legend's Stay With Me, before it launched right into a brass version of Beyonce's Crazy In Love.
There were more enjoyable games, too, with plenty of outdoor fun within the evening sunshine, including a truly amazing bouncy castle. Post-midnight fire pits were lit and also the party continued into the night.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
"Don't stress out about attempting to please people, this is the only amount of time in your life when you can be well and truly selfish also it's great to make it perfect for you!"
